  • Federation of Southern Cooperatives/Land Assistance Fund

    The Federation is a non-profit cooperative association of black farmers, landowners, and cooperatives.

    They are organized by state associations with field offices serving a primary membership base in the Southern States. Our field offices consist of a State Coordinator, Administrative staff, and outreach specialists.

    The majority of the farmers, landowners, cooperatives, and credit unions are in Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, and Louisiana.

  • Arden's Garden

    Arden’s Garden is Atlanta’s premier fresh juice manufacturer. From our two East Point processing plants we make fresh juice five days a week and deliver it all over the city. Our juice is available at supermarkets such as Whole Foods, Publix, Kroger, Walmart, and Sprouts. It’s also available at coffee and bagel shops, health food stores, restaurants, health clubs – even a car wash! Not only do we make cold-pressed juices, but we also make fresh smoothies, wellness shots, and plant-based foods.

  • East Point Farmers Market

    The East Point Farmers Market is an initiative of the East Point Main Street Association and the City of East Point with the support of a large group of volunteers. Their mission is to create a unique experience in the Downtown District for all who shop there, where they will consciously offer fresh food options that are as healthy for the people who eat them as for the ground in which they are grown. The Market is also partnered with Wholesome Wave Georgia to double benefits for SNAP shoppers.

    The East Point Farmers Market is held every Wednesday from 4-7 PM at the Downtown Commons area at 2757 East Point Street in East Point.

    Home to East Point’s largest community garden, Fresh Oasis Community Garden, with over 300 beds.

    The Common Market is a nonprofit regional food distributor with a mission to connect communities with good food from sustainable family farms. They strive to improve food security, farm viability, and community and ecological health.

    The Common Market Southeast connects institutions and communities with good food from more than 30 producers located throughout the Southeast, including Alabama, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.

  • CompostNow

    CompostNow’s vision is to close the loop on food waste by empowering community members and local businesses to divert their compostables from the landfill and, instead, use those nutrients to build nutrient-rich soil.

    Their weekly doorstep collection service empowers those without the space, time or desire to manage their own composting system to still compost at home and earn compost back or choose a local community garden to share your compost with.

  • Blossoms & Broomsticks

    A 1/5+ acre urban farmstead just south of Atlanta in East Point, specializing in nursery plants including edibles, pollinators, and natives grown without the use of synthetic pesticides or insecticides, and with ecologically safe techniques.

  • Market 166

    Market 166 is a growing cooperative with the goal of becoming a grocery store with a full range of products, from produce to dairy to dry goods to meat, including organic & local options. Market 166 also hopes to feature a cafe/deli and commercial kitchen space.

    WWG’s mission is to increase access to and awareness of healthy food choices for all Georgians in need through local farmers and community partners.

    They work towards our mission through several core programs: Georgia Fresh For Less, Georgia Food For Health, Georgia SNAP Connection, and Georgia Plant 2 Plate.
